Over the years I've met many people who struggle with technology and specifically with computers. I also noticed that there are those who are very comfortable with computers. What was interesting is that both groups encounter the same number of problems and potential frustrations. By observing both groups I found that being at ease with technology was more due to how we respond to it and not so much our technical ability.
I think that many people my generation and older (i.e. 40 and up) have told ourselves that we're not technically savvy and never will be. And so we are reluctant to try. But in today's internet-centric world we are faced with this dilemma: Do we use a computer and live with the discomfort of the frustration we associate with it, or do we not have a computer and feel disconnected and left out?
This is where Tech Coaching comes in. By using my coaching program, I can help you to move from a place of frustration to one of ease. My job as your Tech Coach is to help you find your unique way of being empowered when you use computers. Here are some of the rewards that you can get by being coached:
I really believe that each and every one of us can use computers with ease. This doesn't mean that there is some breakthrough that eliminates all computer problems. What it does mean is that there is a way for each of us to use our innate creativity and gain the confidence to be at ease with our computers, even when it does not quite do what we want it to.
